Why Small Businesses Matter
Buy small things, do great things for your community
Why Small Businesses Matter highlights local businesses who donate their time, talent, goods and services for the betterment of our community. The local store movement spreads virally as local businesses that are “tagged” have the opportunity to share their story.
They are IT solutions for growth!
Three questions with David Fischer, founder of Solutions for Growth.
Why did you start your business?
The idea for Solutions for Growth, a small business digital marketing agency, started when I was managing the marketing efforts for a large multinational company – a corporate job.
Friends and family (some of the business owners) came to me for advice on their business. Usually they were suffering from unproductive marketing efforts; spending time and money without much to show for it. I realized that most small businesses don’t have the knowledge, time, or resources to develop sales-generating marketing.
Then I saw an opportunity to serve these companies and pursue a dream, so I left the corporate world and Solutions for Growth was born.
Since then, Solutions for Growth has won awards and certifications and helped hundreds of companies achieve their goals.

What is your best-selling product / service?
Solutions for Growth is a full service marketing agency and we find email marketing to be the most used marketing tool by our clients. The reason is that it is affordable and allows each company to:
* Stay first. No one wakes up every morning thinking about their business, so it is the business owner’s responsibility to remind the market of their existence.
* Present your own experience. To differentiate yourself from the competition, it is important to display experience and knowledge related to the products and services offered.
By developing a regular email program, a business can achieve these goals and drive more business.
How many local businesses do you use to support your business (products and services) and can you name them?
I prefer to support local companies since they, in turn, support me with their services and products:
